Business Process Design
The bedrock of our expertise is business process engineering. This service area underpins all we do. Our focus here is operational/service process optimisation.
Our clients may have a robust business concept and also have in place the infrastructure and resources to operate or service it. But operations are not progressing as well as expected. The existing processes may be overly cumbersome. Or indeed, well defined and communicated business process activities may be absent.

How it works
Our 4 W's (why, what, who, when) represent the basic ‘must-haves' of a sound business process framework.
The ‘Why' (objectives) necessitating the process engagement needs to be clear. The business may be instituting a new system and needs to establish optimal business processes around this. Or parts of the existing processes may be broken or inefficient (e.g. based on the errors arising) that need to be corrected. The objectives are important because they determine the method appropriate to the need and also dictate the baseline success factors to measure against.

The ‘What' (clearly defined steps) need to be specified succinctly and employees trained appropriately as necessary to execute the optimal processes.
| |
‘Who' (resources) should do what and ‘When' (the timing of actions or events triggering the actions) are also fundamental components of the process specification. |
| |
The overriding theme that connects these process elements together is CHANGE MANAGEMENT. Where there are major new processes or significant changes to existing processes to be implemented, you are likely to face the realm of change management. The process design should incorporate carefully planned change management principles, to gain effective buy-in and engage attitudes positively. |
